Welcome to Year 2!

This is a very important stage of your child’s primary school experience which includes the end of Key Stage One SATS. To some parents this might seem like an emotional time as your child reaches the end of their time as an infant begins preparations for formal tests. However although we keep in mind the goal for the end of the year this is a wonderful year. In Year Two we begin to work more independently as we work towards reaching the end of KS1. The children begin to flourish as they see themselves as independent learners and enjoy exploring through practical experiences and written ideas.
