Welcome to Reception!

Welcome to Reception: an exciting year where your child will begin their first year of school! It is a year where your child will gain a true love for learning as they grow into independent, confident learners. Within our curriculum, we aim to promote a love for all areas of learning including maths, writing and reading through our stimulating areas of provision, alongside focused teaching where your child will receive support, stimulation and challenge. At Robin Hood, we encourage children to develop fundamental skills to allow them to maintain and create new friendships, develop their independence and extend their language and vocabulary through questioning and exploration.
